A Common Case
Unfortunately, the guinea pigs below are stereotypical of many of the cases we see here at the Rescue Range. As the pictures clearly show, these guinea pigs have all been terribly neglected. Nails so overgrown that they curl back into the foot pads, making it nearly impossible to walk. Hair left ungroomed and allowed to become matted, and full of dirt, feaces and bedding.
